Sleeping six guests across three bedrooms, this charming house has space for everyone to relax in after a day exploring the Highland countryside, perfect for a small party of family or friends. For evenings out together, there is an inn only 0.5 miles away, by the shore of Loch Gairloch. The interior of the house is bright and homely, making the most of the stunning views with dual aspect windows in the living areas looking across to the mountains and down to the harbour.
When you return to the property, remove coats and shoes and put anything in need of a clean in the handy utility room. Prepare a hearty meal in the kitchen/diner, where the whole party can sit round the table and enjoy local produce. Throw a log on the lounge’s open fire and curl up on the sofas to watch a film. A spacious room for socialising, the lounge also has a second, smaller, table and chairs, ideal for planning the days ahead. On the ground floor you will find a double bedroom and also a shower room with WC and utility room. Heading upstairs you will find three bedrooms, bright and elegantly decorated. One of the doubles has an en-suite shower, while the second double and the twin have the use of the bathroom, where you can unwind and soothe tired limbs in a hot bath after a day hitting the trails. Settle in for a good night’s sleep to wake refreshed and rested the next morning.
Outside the enclosed garden is made up of a large sloping lawn at the front of the house, while there is a decked area at the back. Dine alfresco when the evenings are warm, then sit out with a dram and simply enjoy each other’s company amidst the peace and privacy.
