This beautifully finished home is located on the edge of Loch Earn and offers glorious views from both inside and out. Perfect for a family holiday or couple’s getaway in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, walk spectacular trails around mountains and forests, try your hand at various water sports or just sit back and take in the magnificent waterside views from the comfort of home.

The setting could not be better for this modern family property. Large windows fill the rooms with light, and drink in the watery vistas beyond. Finished to a high standard, stylish fixtures and fittings sit alongside comfortable furniture and many places to relax, creating a welcoming space to return to after a day of discovery.

Step through the front door and into the utility area, with ample space for coats and storing muddy boots, as well as a handy washing machine and tumble dryer to keep adventurers looking ship-shape. Follow through into the beautifully designed, need for nothing kitchen where you can cook a family meal or enjoy a coffee at the breakfast bar. Next is the fantastic open-plan living and dining area; recline in an armchair or snuggle up on the deep-seated sofa while taking in those incredible views of Loch Earn. When the sun goes down, gather around the large dining table and plan the next day’s activity over an evening meal. The hallway leads to three bright and breezy bedrooms with glorious views of the Loch or the well-kept garden. The master bedroom features a stylish en-suite, and the family bathroom is the perfect place to soak tired legs at the end of the day.

To the rear of the house, there is a magnificent, decked area with garden furniture and a gas BBQ to dine alfresco. Sit out in the Scottish sunshine and enjoy beautiful views across the loch to the mountains beyond or stargaze into the evening in this spectacular setting. Storage is available in the double garage for bikes, paddleboards, and kayaks.

Loch Earn marks the start of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, a land of lakes and stunning scenery that's crisscrossed by hiking trails and cycle routes of various lengths and difficulty to suit adventurers of all abilities. At the heart of the park is Loch Lomond itself. You won't find a bigger loch or lake in the whole of Britain, and you'll have a hard time finding a more beautiful one too!

For further inspiration for days out, try; Auchingarrich Wildlife Park (14 miles), a wildlife centre with 70 animal species in enclosures with covered walkways and fly-fishing ponds; mountain biking at Comrie Croft Bike Centre’s downhill trails (14 miles); or play a round at the picturesque Comrie Golf Course (12.5 miles) which warmly welcomes visiting golfers to its scenic holes. With so much more to see and do in the area, you will be hard-pressed to fit it all in.

This cottage was stunning. It was beautifully decorated and really well equipped. The location was perfect for getting out and about and there were 2 hotels within a 5 minute walk if we wanted to go out for a drink or didn't want to cook. We only ate at the Lochearnhead Hotel and the food and hospitality of the hosts was really good.
