This stylish Scandinavian-style chalet is one of three located on an organic farm in the Scottish Borders. It is ideal for a small family or a group of friends to enjoy a relaxing countryside retreat. This is a beautiful rural setting surrounded by sunflower fields and abundant wildlife. Guests will enjoy lovely views over the Eden and Tweed Valleys to the Cheviot Hills beyond. There are walking trails galore in the area including a fantastic country walk following the River Eden almost from the doorstep. The attractive market town of Kelso is 2.5 miles away with a great range of shops to browse and cafes and restaurants to frequent. History buffs should head 2 miles over to Floors Castle with its impressive fortifications and lovely gardens and grounds.

The modern chalet has been beautifully designed inside and out with a Scandi hygge aesthetic. Clean lines and open spaces create a feeling of simplicity and calm. The open-plan lounge and dining room have a high ceiling and wall-to-wall glass doors along one side. This means that the indoors and outdoors blend seamlessly and guests will likely find themselves gazing out the windows at the countryside and sky beyond. The seating is arranged to make the most of the views and also faces a stylish wood burner. The dining table is set for four people and again takes in the impressive views. A sleek and modern kitchen is very much in keeping with the design scheme. Both of the bedrooms are quite special with glass doors opening to the wooden deck and the views beyond. There is a king-size room and a twin room, as well as a polished bathroom with a large walk-in shower.

Directly outside is a pretty wooden deck that is partially covered by the extended roof. Guests can slide open the glass doors to let the outside in, and there is an array of outside furniture set up on the deck. There’s also a private wood-fired hot tub with sensational views to make the most of. Beyond all of this stretches a meadow-style garden with two swing seats. In addition, there is a storage shed for outdoor gear and an external shower. There is also an onsite shared tennis court.
