Remote location. Ideal for walking, fishing etc. Fantastic views with plenty of wild life. We had a visit from a Roe Deer in the garden one night. Shame we were there when it was raining. We will be back in the future.

Achara Lodge is lovely, with plenty of sleep space and bathrooms. Its a short drive to Fort William or Oban, and just minutes from Glencoe. The three-season room is well lit for reading and is comfortable for group sitting. Negatives ...there are no basics like sugar, salt, pepper, foils & wraps, so you have to buy all this; the main heat sources aRead morere on timers so you cant control them (not good for early risers), although there are space heaters you can use in the main living areas.
