The cottage was well situated, an easy walk into Newtonmore. The details and photographs are an accurate reflection of what is provided. The bed was very comfortable and there were good blackout curtains. The lounge was a pleasant place to relax and watch the birds on the feeder. The kitchen was well equipped, with plenty of crockery and cutlery toRead more sustain the dishwasher. It could be a little cramped if cottage was fully occupied and all at kitchen table. Hide

Beautiful and comfortable house with plenty to do and see right at your doorstep. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definately return to Newtonmore and Ballathie Cottage.

Great location with access to all the local walks. Enclosed garden suited the dog. We benefitted from excellent weather but the carport would be very useful in wet weather.
