This lovely detached quirky byre is nestled in an elevated position and benefits from magnificent views towards the Cairngorms and Dundee. Close to the pretty village of Ceres and St Andrews.

Located in a wonderful rural area only two miles from the charming village of Ceres. This beautiful conservation village is home to the Fife Folk Museum and also hosts Scotland’s oldest highland games that are held on the last Saturday in June. Ceres also has a pub and a hotel serving food, tea room, antique shop, family butchers, village store and the renowned Wemyss Ware Pottery. The World famous splendid town of St Andrews, home of golf and the legendary Old course is only six miles away and is well worth a visit. With the picture-postcard East Neuks fishing villages, Fife Coastal Path and wonderful sandy beaches, all within easy reach.  There is also a fabulous Michelin-starred restaurant less than 2 miles away, this restaurant features in the Good Food Guide and is listed as one of the top 50 restaurants in the UK, definitely worth a visit to celebrate a special occasion or birthday!

Entering this charming property into the hallway through to the light and bright lounge with Smart TV and wood burner, perfect for cosy nights in. Next you will find the lovely king-size bedroom with a very handy en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Continuing back through the hall way you are met with the stylish shower room with shower and WC. Followed by the spacious well-equipped kitchen with a lovely Aga oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and seating area. There is also a handy utility room with washer/dryer. From the kitchen you will then enter the dining area with large table perfect for family gatherings. Next you will find the wonderful sunroom with floor to ceiling windows enjoying lovely garden views, this is a perfect place to enjoy a good book. The property has been stunningly renovated and provides first class family accommodation. The owners are on site in case help is needed and they are wonderfully helpful and supportive. The outside area is a perfect playground for children.

Very comfortable, warm and nicely equipped. Log burners set the scene fine. Secluded location with great views and open fields, yet easily accessible to Tesco and Spar etc in Cupar. Great coastal walks and beaches very close by. The Husselbees were very welcoming and informative hosts. Great stay for grandparents, parents and kids altogether. This is a fabulous property in a lovely location close to St Andrews. You will need a car to access the surrounding area but for us we wanted somewhere to relax, switch off and recuperate. Its great for different generations of family. My 83 year old Dad stayed with us. Husband and son were off playing golf most days whilst we stayed at home and enRead morejoyed the views, sunshine and garden with our dog. Hide

The Byre was a perfect property for a restful holiday with a couple of generations of family. The owners have fitted the property out to a high standard and manage to be very friendly and helpful without being overpowering seeing as they live so close. The garden is large and well enclosed and perfect for children and dogs. Highly recommended.

This converted byre is heavenly. Glorious location with a view to lose oneself in and detach from the external world. Superbly equipped and clean. Fantastic dog friendly garden. Finally a holiday cottage that we wanted to come back to every day and would love to return to in the future. The surrounding area is a delight with so much to explore.
