Your spacious open-plan holiday lodge has a warm and welcoming feel, with wood-planked walls, double-height vaulted ceiling and windows positioned so you can enjoy the wonderful mountain views from nearly every position. Neutral shades and wooden details all enhance the feel of a mountain retreat, creating a soothing and peaceful environment.

Spend the day at one of the magnificent beaches that pepper the Angus coastline. The 3-mile stretch of sand at Montrose (32 miles) is perfect for spreading out your blankets for sunbathing and sharing a leisurely picnic. Paddle in the clear waters and stroll the length of the golden sands looking for shells and investigating rock pools. Get competitive on the pitch and putt golf course before chancing your luck in the amusement arcade.

Not to be missed is the cosmopolitan waterfront city of Dundee (32 miles). Explore the city on the Dundee Literary Trail and admire the artworks on display in The McManus Art Gallery and Museum, where exhibits range from the life of early man in the area to paintings by Scottish masters. Head to the waterfront and be inspired at the V&A Dundee, the first design museum to be built in the UK outside of London. Step back in time at RRS Discovery and Discovery Point, walking on Scott’s fully restored ship and finding out how the crew survived being trapped in the Antarctic ice. Dine in one of the city’s many restaurants and don’t forget to purchase some Dundee cake or famous marmalade as a souvenir of your visit.

Fabulous few days! Cabin is beautiful and finished to a high standard. Hot tub high spec. Pity the sauna's are no longer in use since last year (increased enery costs maybe).
