Cosy, comfortable and well equipped cottage. A perfect base to explore the area and walk parts of the Fife coastal path. The geology from St Andrews to Crail in particular was fascinating. The cottage is on a fairly busy road so there is road noise but this was not something that concerned us as we were aware.

The lodge itself is very pretty and quite striking from outside. The interior decoration is charming and cozy. The only thing that cannot be changed is the A92 which runs closely past. This in itself is not noisy if people drive within the speed limit, especially motorbike users!

Lovely cottage, fencing is being replaced to allow dogs to use the garden. Comfortable cottage (gate House), clean and well equipped. Main point to consider, it's 20m from the A92, something not clear on any of the descriptions. If you are aware of the heavy trucks passing by, then it's a good place to explore this region of Scotland.
