Perfect for couples seeking a rural romantic retreat, yet within easy access of all local amenities.  Located in a beautiful rural area in the heart of sleepy picturesque village of Dalton, with its local friendly pub and Thai restaurant. Within easy reach to the historic marketing towns of Annan, Lockerbie, Dumfries and Lochmaben with their excellent leisure and shopping facilities. This is a fantastic base to explore Dumfries and Galloway including the spectacular rugged coastlines and secluded sandy beaches of the famous Solway Firth. Many excellent family-friendly attractions, historic castles, nature reserves, golf courses, river, sea and loch fishing, cycling, hiking, water sports and world class mountain biking are all close at hand. There is also a Gin Distillery on your doorstep, just under a mile away which offers a fantastic choice of gin and tapas, why not spend the day or evening sampling what is on offer!  If you prefer whiskey there is a whiskey distillery around 20 minutes away in Annan.

This romantic hideaway, has been lovingly fitted out and finished, from the entrance you will enter the open plan studio which features a double bed, sofa, log burner, TV and compact but practical kitchen area with breakfast table for two.  The views across the open fields can be taken full advantage of on a summer’s day or clear night with the French doors which open onto a decking area. It is the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down or star gaze in this dark skies area. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, fridge and small electric hob.  There is also a shower room with shower cubicle and WC.

There is an enclosed garden with covered hot tub, decking, pond, fire pit and seating and a BBQ. There is a private off-road parking for one car.
