Step onto your fully enclosed private decked area where you will find your indulgent outdoor hot tub. Enter your fabulous lodge where the open-plan accommodation has a bright and airy feel, with clean lines and neutral tones with bright splashes of colour. Spend your day exploring the spectacular Scottish countryside before curling up on the comfy sofa and enjoying the views. Prepare delicious dinners in the well-equipped compact kitchen area and set the table for two in the cosy dining area. When it’s time to turn in, snuggle up in the comfy double bed at the back of the lodge. You also have a stylish shower room.

Your fully enclosed decked area looks out across open fields and rolling hills. Nature lovers will appreciate the area surrounding the lodge which is a haven for wildlife. There are walks straight from the doorstep through the surrounding countryside. Lace up your walking boots for a hike along the Teviothead Circular, a 9-mile trail along quiet country lanes, passing the grave of notorious reiver Johnny Armstrong and the memorial to Superbike champion Steven Hislop.

Well worth a visit is Hawick (11 miles), the largest of the Scottish Border towns. Famous for its textiles, browse the boutiques selling cashmere and tweed, gaze on the imposing sculpture of the horse, commemorating the largest and oldest Common Ridings, and discover the town’s heritage in the Textile Towerhouse Museum. Enjoy walks along the banks of the River Teviot as you explore Wilton Lodge Park and find the perfect spot for a picnic. On the outskirts of town, discover the blood-thirsty history of sinister Hermitage Castle (16 miles).

Hop in the saddle to explore the scenic landscape by bicycle. Discover the heather-strewn moorland of Lindean Moor and tranquil Lindean Loch Nature Reserve on a circular trail from Selkirk (20 miles). Explore the stunning Bowhill Estate (25 miles) and Ettrick Water, or challenge yourself with the 79-mile long Borderloop Hawick, through peaceful valleys with steep ascents and exhilarating descents.

This was such a beautiful lodge. The stay was excellent and beautiful views to boot! Clean, warm and very accommodating to all you need. The weather wasn't fantastic (lot of rain) but that didn't stop us from enjoying our time. We visited Hawick, lovely place. On our last night we was blessed with clear skies. The cabin was amazing. Only 2 cabins side by side, very private with absolutely breathtaking views. Cabin was dog friendly with the cabin enclosed with decking and a gate to prevent the dog escaping and had areas in front of the cabin for the dog to have a run around. The lodge was perfect for what we needed. The location was peaceful and views from theodge were excellent. Our dog loved being able watch the cattle and sheep in the surrounding fields. We also found the location greater for accessing walks in the surrounding area. Loved our stay and will definitely come back.

We had a great time at Falnash. We loved every minute. The scenery was wonderful, the sheep and their lambs were a joy to watch, it was relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable.

the place was toasty warm, very clean and very comfortable. sofa big enough for 2 to lie out in. the bed and pillows super comfy. the views were amazing and then from the hot tub astounding. the hot tub is a great addition it was well used. theres no hanging rail but we got our bags under the bed and we only had joggers/jumpers and t shirts anyway Read moreso not a problem. plenty of pans and utensils. just wish wed been able to use the bbq but we had changeable april weather. Lovely and clean, well presented and cozy but did look a lot bigger in photos. Wasn't much provided for the price you pay but I take it you pay extra for the hot tub experience which we did fully enjoy!

Just left from a fantastic weekend in a beautiful clean wee lodge, compact but stunning. Great location for anyone hill walking and dog walking, was fabulous for our dog who is on short lead walks at the moment . Wee trip into Hawick to pick up dog towel and throw (forgot to pack). Absolutely love this place for a long wintery weekend - It was our 2nd time back within 12 months. The perfect size for 2 adults and a dog. We stayed for two nights with our reactive rescue pup Alfie. The cabin was perfect, the location is second to none. We have struggled to find somewhere to take our dog as he's quite nervous but he had a blast. The enclosed deck was perfect for him to potter about whilst we were in the hot tub (with a picture perfect view over the hills). There are Read moresome lovely walks in the immediate area. Amazing location, we loved our stay here! The view from the deck is phenomenal and although theres another cabin nearby we didnt feel overlooked. The cheeky sheep in the field were very entertaining, and we loved being able to watch the moon and stars from the hot tub. Inside is very compact and cosy - be careful getting out of the bed! If you're looking for peace and tranquility then this an ideal choice. The hot tub is the perfect way to relax after a hike or cycle over the hills. William herding the sheep with the dog and quad bike was great to watch. Definitely one to return to.

Brilliant location on top of a hill within farmland with just one other lodge nextdoor and near a farm building. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and the crowning glory was the gorgeous hot tub. This place was ideal for what we wanted i.e. a place to just relax and where it was nice and peaceful for our nervous rescue dog.
