This stunning stone bothy could be your romantic, historic home for two, right on the banks of Loch Ness. Situated in 50 acres of beautifully maintained grounds, it can be your base for exploring the incredible wilderness of the Highlands.

The property itself is a traditional stone structure secluded on a wooded estate. It is a quaint and charming building, with exposed stone and beams throughout, and retaining hearty traditional features mixed with comfortable, contemporary furnishings. The layout too, is unique, with a welcoming living space and a ladder up to your bedroom, making the place feel intimate and dreamy.

Entering the bothy, you’ll come upon the main, open-plan living space. First, a sweet kitchen snugly and smartly built into the stone wall, kitted out with everything you need to self-cater while you’re here. Take your meal through to a delightful little eating area beside the window, or simply relax in the lounge area, a super comfortable space looking out to the loch, complete with a wood burner for cosying up on cooler evenings.

Up the ladder on a gallery level sits your bedroom area, a romantic hideaway with a sloping roof, comfy super-king bed and homely touches. Please note due to the layout and style of this property the head height is restricted in the sleeping area. Wake up to light streaming in from the grounds of this lochside estate.

Outside the property, the rolling grass and gardens, quaint stone walls, trees and native planting, all slope down to the bank of the gorgeous Loch Ness. There are very few opportunities to actually walk along the shores of Loch Ness, but this cottage has about a mile of shoreline to explore. You may even spot the infamous monster that’s said to lurk in these mysterious waters.

You can even fish on the loch and nearby rivers by arrangement and on the pond of the estate - there's a rowing boat and life jackets that you can borrow for an extra adventure.

When you fancy exploring the wider area, the property makes a great base for venturing out into the Highlands. Spot majestic wildlife in unspoilt natural habitats. Bag a Munro. You could try mountain biking, or you could even test your nerve by trying out a winter sport, like snowboarding or skiing on the Nevis Range, 44 miles away near Fort William.

A picturesque 27-mile drive will bring you to the vibrant city of Inverness on the shores of the Beauly Firth, where you can discover art, culture, and history that will give you endless stories to take home.

Quite possibly the best uk holiday Ive ever been on. Marion was brilliant even when not on the estate where the bothy is she was just a text message away. Such a beautiful and scenic area with plenty opportunity to walk and see various things. Urquhart castle and the invermosriston falls were our highlight. Thank you again

Lovely little stone cottage but the bed is in a mezzanine floor with no standing room ,crawling space only . and the only way up to it was what can only be described as a bunkbed ladder. Not suitable if you are disabled. There was a Log Burner and a complimentary basket of Firewood. The extra wood at cost was missing. However, this was resolved quiRead morete promptly after we managed to contact our representative of the owner. if we were to go again, we would definitely choose the summer Hide

Great place on a fantastic site. The whole area is incredibly well looked after and obviously loved by the owners, who get stuck in maintaining the place. The summer house by the small lochan is a great place to relax in and I even caught a small pike from there. Great views of Loch Ness and amazing local walks.

Lovely place to stay with a beautiful view and location. The kitchen had enough equipment if you want to cook but the Glenmorriston Arms pub is 5 mins walk away which sells nice food. Good location to visit a lot of areas in Scotland. Had a fab week.
