Very peaceful and smart cottage. Excellent to have a good rest! Good location : you can go to the glens or to beach quite easily. Mrs McQuaid is very nice : you can ask information or ask for something missing. She is ready to help.

We had a really lovely week at the cottage which was clean and had everything you needed. Owners are great and very helpful, let us a lovely hamper and flowers as a welcome gift. Both gardens were great for the dog. Very well situated for access to places like Stonehaven, Montrose, Brechin, Forfar & Dundee.

Smart, clean, comfortable cottage with all the general amenities you need. Wonderful welcome pack and the owners are very generous and friendly. Great location to explore the Aberdeenshire coast and the Cairngorm National Park with plenty to do if that is what you want, or calm and peaceful enough if you just want to relax away rom the world

The owners provided a comprehensive welcome pack with the addition of an unlimited supply of wood for the wood-burning stove - much appreciated with the very wet weather. This was a lovely property and Kate was very welcoming and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Was lovely to see rabbits and bats in the garden most days and had a close encounter with a deer on our first night just round the corner. Beautiful cottage. Very peaceful setting. Delightful garden. Only downside is that it was quite a drive if you want to get into the heart of the Cairngorms - which we did.
