Sleeping up to 14 guests and kitted out with seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms, it is truly perfect for families, friends and groups of couples looking to celebrate a special occasion or savour a much-anticipated break, surrounded by luxury and the promise of adventure.

Ideal for nights of entertaining, the jaw-dropping lounge-come-dining room features intricate wood panelling and is adorned with elegant details. Take a pew around the grand dining table to feast on expertly spun meals; with a well-equipped kitchen with an AGA and plenty of equipment to hand, you can either hire a private chef or cook up a culinary storm yourself for grand family affairs. Later on, as the grown-ups take a seat by one of the open fires, let the children scoot off to the games room where all manner of delights await.

If you would like somewhere quiet to wind down with a book, a further lounge invites you to bask in the glow of its open fire while the top floor study boasts a study at the top of a spiral staircase with an array of books and a large balcony. Watch the light fade over the garden and countryside beyond and then make your way to bed. Boasting soft pillows, radio iPod docks and lovely views, each of the property’s seven bedrooms is a private sanctuary. Take your pick of the ground floor’s two super-king-size rooms with en-suites and king-size room with en-suite or choose from the four super-king-size bedrooms (each with en-suite bathrooms) upstairs.

Encompassed by beautifully manicured gardens, there is ample space outside for little kids and big kids alike to relax and play. Stretch your legs in the morning with a stroll around the gardens and through the surrounding woodland, and spend afternoons sunbathing on the lawn. In the evening, round off the day with a BBQ and gather around for a flame-grilled feast as the sun drops over the horizon.

To add a splash of mystery to your adventure, the northern tip of Loch Ness is only 22.5 miles away and a must-visit for those looking to catch a rare glimpse of the famous Nessy or find out more about the history which surrounds this mythical beast.

To learn about local history, the crumbling rins Urquhart Castle is located 32 miles to the south while Dunrobin Castle is 37.5 miles to the north.
