Nestled on the banks of the River Tay on the Burnmouth fishing beat, on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Stanley. This is the perfect location for all lovers of the outdoors and fishermen will be most delighted with the wonderful river Tay, internationally renowned for its Atlantic salmon fishing. Golf enthusiasts are also well catered for, with over twenty courses within easy reach including Gleneagles, Rosemount, Lansdowne, Perth and Dunkeld. Located just seven miles north of Perth with its excellent leisure and shopping facilities, close to the main A9 taking you straight into the highlands of Scotland, where you are able to enjoy everything from 'bagging a Munro' to white water rafting, skiing to sightseeing.

Entering the property into the spacious hallway, through to the light and bright pretty king-size bedroom with dressing room and French doors leading out to the patio area and gardens. Leading back through the hallway you are met with the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Next door you with find the utility room with washing machine. Leading up the stairs you are met with a beautiful spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Kitchen area, well-equipped with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, fridge/freezer and large dining table that can seat up to eight guests comfortably. The lounge area has a TV/DVD, CD, selection of DVDs and French doors leading out the balcony with table and chairs, enjoying splendid views over the river Tay. Leading from the lounge/kitchen/diner, you will also find the shower room with shower and WC and a further two beautiful twin bedrooms.

Venturing outside you will find the beautifully presented spacious mature gardens perfect for children and dogs, patio with seating area and private hot tub, BBQ and two further seating areas. Direct access though a secure gate from the garden on to the banks of the River Tay. Ample off-road parking is available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Stunning location, really comfortable rooms. The cottage kept the promises the pictures made, in fact our experience was that it is even better. We had a great week there. Very nice owners.

The holiday was fantastic and exactly what we needed and the views and walks amazing. Peter and Rosie were really helpful. The hot tub was a godsend after a day out walking. Loved every minute of our break thoroughly recommend. Lots of beautiful walks and the dogs loved it too.

Beautiful location right next to the river. Very well equipped kitchen. The owners Peter and Rosie were very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Homemade cake and whiskey were a lovely treat. Homely touches made it cosy. Beds comfy. Made lots of use of the hot tub. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone who just wanted to relax.

The lodge was extremely well kept and beautifuly furnished and equipped. Received a very warm and friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The surroundings were idilic and kept to an incredibly high standard. Excellent value. Couldn't overstate the experience.
