Enter this homely property into the fantastic spacious lounge. With a wonderful wood burner, fully-stocked bookcase and large leather sofas, this is the perfect space in which to relax and unwind in front of the TV/DVD player after a tiring day. The kitchen beyond is stylish yet traditional with exposed beams above and shaker-style units with oak worktops. Concoct and enjoy delicious meals in the dining area, which opens onto the garden through large patio doors, promising a spectacular view with every meal. Together with a handy utility room with washing facilities, there is a large family bathroom with roll-top bath on the ground floor, perfect for soothing those aching muscles after a long walk. Upstairs, three tastefully decorated bedrooms are located in the eaves, each boasting wonderful rural views.

Located on a working croft, this property enjoys a rural setting just 2 miles from the pretty village of Ardgay on the banks of the Dornoch Firth, where you will find a cafe, a small shop and train station. Cross the picturesque Bonar Bridge (5.5 miles) to reach the popular golf club, a post office, local shops and salmon and trout fishing opportunities.

Discover this area’s local heritage with a visit to Dunrobin Castle (28 miles), Dornoch Cathedral (19 miles), and Glenmorangie Distillery (17.5 miles). Closer to home, activities in the local area include fishing, mountain biking, walking, hiking and horse riding, ensuring there is something for everyone.

One lovely walk in the area can be found 6.5 miles away at Loch Migdale, where you can follow a route through woodland, around the loch and up to one of two moorland viewpoints - the best way to appreciate the local scenery.

This was my 4th holiday at the cottage I absolutely love it. Its so peaceful and you have everything you need in the cottage. I couldn't recommend it enough and can't wait to go back next year.

This is a lovely comfortable cottage with great views and easy walks from the door. Lots of interesting places to visit within fairly easy reach - countryside, beaches, mountains, castles. We had a great holiday!

This house was truly AMAZING! The location was fantastic. It was rural, quiet, peaceful and tranquil. Great position for exploring, well equipped with everything we needed, clean and comfortable. And that roll top bath after a long day of walking is heaven! Couldn't ask for any more. We will definitely be back.

Very peaceful and lots of walks to go on, the two kids had a great time board games and dvds along with the large outdoor space was perfect for them. cottage was very welcoming and homely. Would definitely go back in the future.

The cottage is in a lovely part of the country side with lots of wildlife & things to see & do. Very spacious & comfortable, with only a short drive to Dornoch, Tain & the Flow country.
