Beautiful property, lovely one of a kind home, original stone floors but all the modern conveniences, comfortable and quiet. Loved the friendly horses and our host was really helpful, highly recommended. I would suggest a car because it is a bit far from town. Great base to explore the region. We had a wonderful time, I would go back again!

Great location and good property. We used it as a base to explore Largs, Irvine, Troon, Prestwick, Ayr and the surrounding countryside. There are many great places to visit in the area and the wonderful weather this year didn't hurt the exploration process.

I am partially disabled, use a walker to get around. Super spacious and all on one level, great. Only downside was over the bath shower. But I managed. Clearly in the description. The surrounding of horses more than made up for it.

Middlepart cottage was in a very nice location, extremely quiet although it formed part of the main house it is very private, beautiful views over to the sea and only about five miles to the ferry port for Arran, very very pleasant host who went beyond the normal in providing fresh fruit flowers milk and shortbread biscuits for your arrival.
