The house is a beautifully preserved listed three storey stone house set in the iconic location with panoramic views over the bay, Raasay and the Cullins. Beachfront garden with Private access to the beach. The telephone box in the garden is the most photographed in Scotland.

Set in a peaceful central location within the picturesque coastal town of Portree, on the mystical Isle of Skye. Stroll along to the Pier to watch the fishing boats unload and buy your fresh crabs and prawns directly from the boats and shop. Fish from the end of the Pier, great for older children. The town has quirky shops, friendly pubs and a variety of restaurants from Michelin Guide to Fish & Chips. Walking, climbing, horse riding, golf and kayaking are all available close by, with the magnificent Quiraing, Neist point, The Old Man of Storr and Cuillin range to explore. Take a local boat trip to see offshore wildlife and the spectacular scenery, in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

On entering this lovely quirky accommodation on the ground floor, you will find the spacious lounge with comfy seating to relax and watch TV or a DVD. Next to the lounge is the kitchen/diner with seating, well equipped kitchen with Aga, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also a utility/study area with washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge. Taking the stairs from the lounge to the first floor you will find two tastefully decorated bedrooms, one double bedroom with en-suite bath and WC and one double with custom made vanity wash basin. Continuing up to the second-floor to the comfortable twin bedroom. A shower room with shower and WC.

Stepping back outside and directly opposite the property is the beachfront garden with the red telephone box and seating area to enjoy a wee dram while watching the amazing sunsets over Portree Bay. Off-road parking available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Please note there is a refundable £100 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Great location! Very homely and traditionally furnished. Great source of hot water. Enjoyed using Aga although might not be for everyone. Bring your own toys for young kids though as weather is prone to be very changeable!

The location is amazing, with fantastic views over Portree harbour. Lots of tourists walked passed and came into the garden to take photos - some even sat and ate their chips! The house itself is a good size, but in parts tired and in need of updating. Also we found the layout impractical. Door needed on en-suite!

Beautiful home overlooking Portree harbour, so it has lovely views. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Carole is ever so helpful and provided lots of information before we travelled. Lovely sitting outside at an evening, with the added benefit of a parking space in central Portree!

Location is fantastic for this lovely,peaceful, comfortable house. Right on a dead-end harbour-front road the view is fantastic. Loved seeing the sea and the hills without getting out of bed. You do get a few folks walking by, but no problem. It has its own parking, although this is in what would be the garden (on the other side of road) Its extremRead moreely well equipped. The kitchen has everything. The Aga is fab. Great for cooking and homeliness. Bring your own shower gel though! Happy hols Hide
