We set out to relax and step away from the world for a week and we did. Eat, walk, sleep and repeat. The location is remote on a single track road, but the area is stunning. You can be as active or as lazy as you want. Great area for walking, climbing, cycling, fishing, good food, nice people. The cottage is very spacious considering it is just forRead more 2 and dogs. Lovely cottage in a wonderful setting Wildlife in abundance, lots of birds, red squirrels , deers and even a Pinemarten that likes peanut butter. Would go back again but not in July as there are so many horseflies. Apart from that it was so relaxing.

This was an absolutely gorgeous and beautiful place to stay (particularly helped by the picturesque snow and icicles when we arrived!) The cottage is a lovely, cosy place to stay and I would certainly recommend it for a lovely winter getaway!
