The owner lived next door and was very helpful and welcoming - giving us extra equipment for our 2 year old and 9 month old. My kids especially enjoyed the two chickens who were regular visitors to the cabin. The cabin was well equipped with everything. The Glenfinnan Hotel was around the corner with a lovely bar overlooking the Loch and monument. The cottage is set in a beautiful location, its tranquil, warm and cozy. Its a perfect location to sightsee and go for long walks, but also perfect just to relax. We loved the sound of the river, in the background and the owner was lovely. The nearby hotel provides takeaway fish and chips including gluten free, as well as an extensive GF menu.
