This beautiful converted barn is one of two properties situated in 50 acres of a private estate on the spectacular shores of Loch Ness. Surrounded by stunning scenery and views towards the loch, this property offers guests the opportunity to explore the very best the Highlands have to offer. Take your time to stroll around the estate along its various paths overlooking the water or winding through pretty woodland, to really savour and enjoy the countryside that is right on your doorstep.

Designed to blend modern-day living with original features, this property has been furnished and finished using traditional fabrics and patterns alongside contemporary appliances and fittings. Arranged over two floors, the quirky layout is designed to maximise the space and features of the barn, hence why the large lounge/diner is situated on the first floor. With impressive exposed beams, this area is comfortable, spacious and light. Also on the first floor is a king-sized bedroom with en-suite shower room that conveniently has two showers and WC. On the ground floor is the large stylish well-equipped kitchen/diner which is a lovely space to entertain family and friends whilst preparing dinner. You’ll also find a family room on this floor with a one double bed and bunk beds, as well as a wet room with two showers, a separate WC and a boot room that is perfect for removing wet and muddy clothing!

Outside the property has the real wow factor as it is nestled in 50 acres of private grounds which guests are welcome to explore. There is a path leading to a peaceful little summer house that overlooks a pond where you can retreat to, to relax and unwind with nothing around you except the sounds of the Highland wildlife and wilderness. There is also a rowing boat which you can make use of on the pond and life jackets are available too.

Loch Ness is probably the most famous stretch of water in Scotland and is a large freshwater loch best known for its mythical tales about the 'Loch Ness Monster'. Surrounded by dramatic scenery, the loch's beautiful crystal waters are a playground for any adventure enthusiast or nature lover. There is so much to see and do in and around the loch such as kayaking, jet skiing, paddleboarding, walking, cycling, horse riding to name just a few, you will be spoilt for choice planning your days here.

Fort Augustus (7 miles) is a beautiful little hamlet lying on the Caledonian Canal with a breathtaking backdrop of mountain ranges and forestry. Teeming with Highland life, this village is vibrant and bustling with people navigating boats through the lochs of the canal. Traditional shops offer a variety of homemade gifts and local produce to enjoy after experiencing many of the glorious walks the area has to offer in this little slice of Highland paradise.

Lovely house in beautiful surroundings. Outstanding views and directly on the loch side. The owners are lovely, kind and really helpful. There is nothing not to love about this place.
