Cottage was well equipped, central heating was great and the rooms were all warm. Stairs are quite steep and require care, but not dangerously so. Supply of entertainment is amazing, films on different formats to suit everyone. WiFi is good too. It is within easy walking distance of the local Coop and of several good eating places (The Ship's SundaRead morey lunch was great, good-sized portions and very tasty). Good walks locally and short drive to Berwick-upon-Tweed's shops and historical attractions. Hide

Lovely cottage with good vibes - great location and fantastic views, well-equipped, and very comfortable beds. This house is perfect for children and teenagers, but also for adults who enjoy cooking, because it's very well-equipped with everything from lemon squeezers to a paella pan! The beds were comfortable and there is plenty of space. We had a lovely holiday - went on boat trips, bought ice cream, explored the area and its history. Fully recommended.
