Scone Palace (12 miles) is one of Perth's iconic and historical stately homes, magnificent in stature and grandeur. Still a family home, the palace is a significant part of Scotland's history and was where Charles II, Macbeth and Robert the Bruce were once crowned. Sitting in beautiful grounds and woodland, it is a sight to behold and definitely worth visiting to appreciate some of Scotland's most renowned heritage.

The River Tay (6 miles) is the longest river in Scotland and provides a vast selection of water sports for those looking for a little excitement and adventure. From sailing, kayaking and fishing to white water rafting, paddle boarding, jet skiing and more, the River Tay offers an abundance of activities for all abilities to try.

Conveniently located between the historical cities of Dundee (11 miles) and Perth (13 miles), you will be able to sample some of the heritage and culture Scotland is most famous for. Steeped in history, both cities offer a wide range of historical venues, shops, art galleries and restaurants for you to appreciate.

Myself and my husband came for a relaxing week away from our busy work life. We were not disappointed and had a fabulous week. The lodge was bright, clean, fully equipped with everything we needed. We brought our dog and she too had a fabulous time, with some lovely nature walks. We shall definitely be back.

Comfortable well equipped property in a beautiful setting. A wonderfully relaxing place to unwind and recharge. Watching the antics of the sheep with their lambs and the cattle was wonderful, you had to drag yourself away. Lots of places to visit in the area, I enjoyed Glamis, Scone, Dundee V and A and the drive up to Loch Ness is spectacular. I wiRead moresh I had booked an extra week as there was a lot more I wanted to see. This was my first visit to Scotland, why did I leave it so long? Its stunning. Hide
