Located on the beautiful Angus coastline between Dundee and Arbroath and only 4 miles from Carnoustie, famed for its championship golf course, this is a fantastic base for your holiday. Walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers are well catered for with numerous coastal, country and forest trails to explore, and with Crombie Park and reservoir close at hand, ideal for fishing too. Water sports enthusiast will be delighted with windsurfing, canoeing and sailing available in Carnoustie's large shallow bay. Munro baggers are also spoilt for choice with the nearby Angus glens and the Grampian Mountain ranges within easy reach.  Dundee is a short drive away and has lots to offer, the new V&A opened at the end of 2018 and the newly developed Waterfront has a zip wire across the water as well as the Discovery Ship.

On entering this spacious and inviting single-storey semi-detached property, you will find yourself in the attractively decorated and comfortable lounge. With wood burner effect gas fire and TV/DVD, it’s an ideal space to relax in. Moving into the dining room you can dine in style while enjoying the beautiful views. Patio doors lead out to the garden. Heading into the charmingly designed kitchen, you will find everything you may need including electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Exploring further, you will find three comfy bedrooms. There’s one room with a four-poster bed, a twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a king-size on request), and a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with en-suite shower room and WC. There is also a bathroom, complete with bath, separate shower and WC.


Stepping outside, the lovely garden has a delightful summer house for you to relax in, as well as a patio area with seating.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The location was very quiet and centrally placed for easy access to the many places of interest in the area. We considered this to be ideal, but the accommodation was in need of some improvements. The ensuite was badly in need of refurbishment and required a heated towel rail instead of the inadequate radiator.

John the owner was very pleasant and easy going. He gave us plenty of info about the area and where best to eat etc. Cottage well situated to explore the Angus region.
