The Wrens Nest is a little gem, small but perfectly formed and with quality equipment, fixtures, fittings and soft furnishings. Its very comfortable and well equipped, particularly given its size. Theres everything you need to make a decent stove-top meal, supplemented by a microwave. Theres also a village pub, which serves hearty food, within walkRead moreing distance. The village also has a post-office/store, so theres access to provisions. Lovely walks in the area, perfect if you have a dog. Hide

We loved staying in this little cottage apartment, it was perfect to come back to after a day rambling around the hills. Lovely and cosy, very comfortable bed, good TV, has everything you need in the kitchen apart from an oven (but why would you need an oven when Newton Stewart is only 10 mins drive away!). We even spotted deer in the field just opRead moreposite and rabbits down the lane every morning! Hide

A cosy cottage perfect for two and our little doggy! Loved the welcome pack too. So many places to explore, Macy loved the beach at Auchenmalg. The kitchen is really tiny and no worktop space so making dinner is tricky, so Id say eat out or get takeaways!
